Properties of Layfelt from the plastic family Support
Layfelt resembles oriented felt after soaking in water. It is stable, flexible, but not elastic.
Layfelt can be used to create fibrous objects, such as water purification filters or felt-like textiles.
Poro-Lay Layfelt Filament
The material consists of two components: an elastomer, which is responsible for the rubber-like feel and material properties, and a water-soluble component. After printing, the object is placed in water, leaving the elastomer and thus the soft, porous object after one to four days
