The Bondtech DDX Direct Drive eXtruder for Creality 3D Printers is an upgrade kit that replaces the original Bowden extruder with a direct drive extruder setup. It is a high-performance, two-drive extruder based on the BMG Bondtech Mini Geared. Compatibility with multiple hotends.
This model was created to be compatible with the original hotend of each Creality model. Users can also upgrade the hotend to Copperhead ™ or Mosquito ™. DDX adapter kit required.
The DDX is compatible with most Creality Ender and CR series 3D printers. The DDX requires a kit of adapters for each model or set of models.

Use of a bed probe with DDX
The DDX was designed so that the bed probe can be attached to the x-carriage. For models that do not have space to attach a bed probe such as the BLtouch to the X-Cart, a bracket can be printed and attached to the right side of the DDX. Bondtech DDX Direct Drive eXtruder.

Bondtech's unique dual-drive technology combined with the factory hotend or, for even better performance, the industry-leading Copperhead ™ or Mosquito ™ hotends from SliceEngineering gives you a direct drive extruder with hassle-free material handling and allows you to use a wider range of materials. The housing parts are printed with PA12 (polyamide) for maximum strength and precision using SLS technology in industrial quality.
The Bondtech DDX Direct Drive eXtruder for Creality gives the user more options - different materials; higher flow and / or wider nozzles; thinner layers - and achieve a higher print quality. The DDX is based on the BMG Bondtech Mini Geared Extruder with our unique dual drive technology. The DDX housing design provides effective hot-end cooling. The 3: 1 gear ratio enables high resolution prints with small nozzles or high flow prints with larger nozzles. Easy to set up.
For ease of setup, the kit is attached to the carriage with just 2 screws.
